Today is the first day of
Hari Ray Puasa. As today is a sunday, tomorrow will also be a public holiday.
Princess wishes all our Muslim loved ones and friends "Selamat Hari Raya"!
As Princess is still very young, FIL has advised us not to bring her to church for the moment, at least until after she has had her second immunisation.
As such, while Da went to church this morning, I stayed at home to keep Princess company. She has been fascinated with the fabric book that we bought for her from
Kiddy Palace and she often flips through the book to look at the colourful pictures of animals. We will also take the opportunity to make the sounds that these animals make so that she can familiarise herself with the sounds. She loves in particular the sound of the lamb that we make.

Princess is not able to turn onto her tummy and lift her head up. Every now and then, she is able to turn herself back but when she is unable to, daddy and mommy will give her a helping hand.

This is the romper that we bought for Princess from the
Takashimaya baby fair. Gosh, I think we may have bought the wrong size because it is a little short for her.

Television time! Princess entertained herself watching cartoons on the Okto channel on cable television. I remember watching "
Sesame Street" and "
The Muppets" on television when I was growing up and I was very entertained by them. We will need to look for these DVDs for Princess.

As it was a little warm in the afternoon, we decided to let Princess rest on her mattress in the bedroom with the air-conditioning switched on. However, our little darling was not in the mood to take a nap. She wanted to play!

In the evening, Princess waited in her "watching television chair" while Da and I got ready to take her out for her first stroll.

We placed Princess in the Maxi-Cosi bassinet that we borrowed from our friends (NN and SF).

The bassinet can be attached to stroller legs and it becomes a stroller. Princess looked puzzled as she wondered what we were doing struggling to attach the bassinet to the stroller legs. As they say, practice makes perfect.

On hindsight, we should have taken Princess out for a stroller earlier. As dusk had fallen, Princess was not very keen on the shadows that she saw as we took her out for the stroll.
The highlight of the stroll was when we crossed paths with Da's uncle and aunt. They stopped to coo at Princess. When aunt gave Princess a kiss, Princess grinned happily. Ah, our little darling's first smile of the evening! We are so sorry, baby... next time we shall take you out for a stroll earlier in the day when dusk has not yet fallen.
When we came home, Princess' mood had improved because she was in familiar territory again.

After the stroll, Princess was exhausted and as such, I quickly fed her and changed her into night clothes.

Good night, my darling... and sweet dreams!
