first whole day at home

Today is Princess' first whole day at home. For the past two days, she went to the medical centre / hospital for her medical appointments.

I have taken leave (from work) for the entire week as I am hoping to set up a routine / schedule with Princess so that it would be easier for my mother when she babysits Princess during weekdays when I go back to work next week.

We are very blessed that the Lord has given us a beautiful baby girl who is good natured and smiley. She is a joy to look after and she know how to keep herself entertained. She likes to watch television and as such, we have bought her some babies' DVDs to watch.

As it is easy to take care of Princess, I found myself having time to indulge in my other favourite activity - baking!

I baked curry tuna buns and satay chicken buns today.

Princess has developed a fascination for her fingers. She seems to have realised that her fingers are part of her and they are fun to play with. She was tickled when I started counting the number of fingers on one hand. Does anyone remember how the rhyme / game "This Little Piggy" goes? I have forgotten the words. Help!

I am enjoying the time that I am spending bonding with Princess. She is so adorable and I love to give her hugs and kisses.

Thank You, Jesus for showing us favour. I pray for wisdom and favour for Princess every day of her life.
