Princess enjoying her day with maternal grandmother

This morning, Princess looked pensive as she sat in her "watching television chair". We had just changed our subscription package for cable television to include the cartoon channels. I switched on the Disney channel for Princess to watch but she did not seem interested. Perhaps she missed her "Baby Bright" educational DVD that we normally let her watch in the morning.

When my mother arrived at our home, Princess' mood lightened. She is always happy to see my mother.

Whenever my mother talks to Princess, Princess will pay attention, as though trying to understand what my mother is telling her.

Look at the happy face on our little darling as she had a "conversation" with my mother!

My mother is teaching Princess how to "shake hands". Sometimes our baby gets it right, sometimes not. But she is learning.

During the day time, Princess likes to laze around in the day cot that my mother bought for her from IKEA.

Even with a pacifier in her mouth, Princess is ever ready to have her photograph taken.

Here is the happy baby, after a comfortable nap.

Princess knows by now when the camera is aimed at her. She will make sure that she is looking in the direction of the camera.

Another happy day spent with Mama!

Home alone with Princess

If you are wondering why there are so many photographs in today's post, it is because Princess was a perfect subject today and I managed to take so many beautiful photographs using our Panasonic Lumix digital camera.

My mother could not babysit Princess today as she had a training session at work. As such, I took the day off to look after Princess.

In the morning, Princess spent some time bonding with her daddy before he left for work.

As I was not in a hurry to get up, Princess decided to laze around on our bed.

Time for a morning bath! Princess loves taking baths and she will often kick her legs excitedly while in the bathtub.

After an invigorating bath, Princess was more than happy to smile sweetly at the camera.

Here is our little darling, showing us how flexible her bones are.

Da spent some time with Princess before he bade goodbye to her as he left for work.

Gosh, another cute photograph of our beautiful girl!

Here she is again... making cheeky faces at the camera.

Nowadays, Princess has developed the habit of sucking her fingers. I have been informed that it is better if the baby were to suck her fingers to sleep instead of using a pacifier.

After her nap, Princess sat on her "watching television chair" as she watched some DVDs on television.

Even though she is only 3 months' old, Princess is now able to turn over and raise her head. However, she is not always able to turn back and we would need to help her.

Who can resist this charming face?

Here is another of Princess' favourite poses - she will raise her legs and hold her feet with her hands.

Princess likes browsing the fabric book that we bought for her from Kiddy Palace.

Our little darling knows how to spit out her pacifier when she does not need it.

Here is our baby, showing signs of having natural curls in her hair. Woo-hoo! Just like daddy and mommy!

This is Princess on her "changing mat". This type of changing mat has been around for ages.

One side of the changing mat is pink and the other side of the changing mat is blue.

This yellow top was given to Princess by Da's mother. You cannot see it clearly in the photograph below but there is a Hello Kitty emblem on the left hand side of the top.

sigh... our little angel showing off her flexible limbs again!

This photograph below is a prelude to the one below.

When I moved away from the day cot, Princess raised her head and peered at me through the wooden frame of the baby cot!

After all that playing, Princess decided to take a nap in the evening.

My little angel, daddy and mommy love you very much. May the wisdom and the favour of the Lord be upon you always.

ang pow from maternal grandmother

Princess was in a good mood when she woke up this morning. I think that she knew that it was a monday and that meant that her maternal grandmother would be coming over to babysit her for the week.

True enough, when my mother arrived, Princess gurgled with happiness at seeing my mother.

Princess received an ang pow from my mother today.

Look at the pretty girl holding onto her ang pow!

Princess certainly enjoyed her day with my mother today.

Our little girl can now turn over. More often than not, she is able to turn back although every now and then, her hand gets stuck under her tummy and she would require some assistance.

Sleep tight, little darling. Sweet dreams!

It's a sunday - praise the Lord!

Princess' cot (which we are borrowing from our friends, NN and SF) would be arriving today. While we are happy that she would be able to sleep in her own cot at night, in a way we felt the loss of having her sleep with us on our bed.

Da arranged to meet NN and SF this afternoon to collect the baby cot. In the meantime, I spent the day bonding with Princess.

I decided to bake a pineapple upside down cake for our guests.

After her afternoon feed, I let Princess take a nap so that she would be refreshed when our visitors arrived.

When Princess woke up from her nap, I changed her into a pretty navy blue dress that we bought from the Takashimaya baby fair recently.

Towards the late afternoon, Da arrived with NN, SF and IL (daughter of NN and SF). Pretty little IL was happy to see Princess and she wasted no time in giving Princess a hug and a kiss. She also called Princess "little sister" in Mandarin.

After NN and SF left, we decided to take Princess for a late afternoon stroll.

Initially, we pushed the stroller around our condominium development. Subsequently, we decided to push the stroller out of the development to the neighbouring park.

After a while, Princess fell asleep in her stroller. As such, we decided to head back to our development.

As we were making our way back to our block, Princess woke up. We pushed the stroller to the children's playground in our development but she did not seem interested in her surroundings. In due time....

After I put Princess to bed, my mother, my brother (LG) and LG's girlfriend (ZT) arrived for dinner. LG had cooked spicy pork cubes spaghetti, aglio olio style. Naturally, Boy-Boy came along. He managed to find his way to our bedroom and he stood on his hind legs and tried to look into the baby cot. As he was not tall enough, my mother carried Boy-Boy to have a look at the sleeping girl.

Princess will turn 3 months tomorrow. Our little darling is getting more and more adorable by the day. We are truly blessed by the Lord.
