The celebrations already started last weekend with a reunion lunch with my mommy's family at Miramar Hotel on 7 February 2010.
Tonight, daddy and mommy will be bringing me to daddy's parents' home for reunion dinner. I cannot wait to see my Kong Kong J and Mama R again!
First things first... daddy and mommy brought me to Suntec City this morning to attend to some errands. At the same time, we paid a surprise visit to my mommy's mother (my Mama B) at her workplace in Suntec Tower Two. My maternal grandmother's colleagues coo-ed over me. Yeah!
Here I am, in my playpen. Godpa NN's and Ah Gu BL's parents lent it to me. Isn't it awesome? Eh... in case you are wondering, Godpa and Ah Gu are brothers. Initially, I could not get the hang of the playpen and I struggled to stand up. In a matter of a few days, I can now stand up easily even though there are no vertical bars (unlike my day cot) for me to hold onto for purposes of standing up.
Mommy! I'm hungry! Please feed me dinner quickly so that we can make our way to Ah Kong J's and Mama R's home for the adults' reunion dinner.
Burp! (oops... sorry about that....) After a yummy dinner, mommy changed me to a red Chinese New Year attire. I am ready to party!
While waiting for daddy and mommy to get ready, I watched Baby TV on cable television. It is not obvious in the photograph below but I sat upright on my own without leaning back against the sofa.
Mama R busied herself unpacking the steamboat that daddy and mommy brought to my paternal grandparents' home. The adults were having steamboat dinner today.
Mama R played with me for a while. Or rather, I was crawling everywhere and Mama R was trying to catch up with me.... *grin*
Love,
Princess
