Even at her young age, Princess has already made friends. She gets along with the three handsome boys who live opposite us in our apartment block.
During the weekends, the boys like to come over to our main grille (as our main door is always open when we are at home but the grille is locked) and ask to see Princess. If I am busy with chores, I will place Princess on her "watching television chair" and wheel her to the grille for the three boys to chat with her. If I am free to chit-chat as well, I will open the grille for them to come closer.

The eldest of the three boys (KY) is in Kindergarten 2 whereas the youngest (KH) is in Nursery 1. The boys know Princess' name and I can often hear them calling out her name from their apartment unit opposite us.

This morning, while the middle boy (KJ) was having his swimming lessons, KY and KH came over to our grille to chit-chat with Princess. KY revealed that KH had difficulty pronouncing the name of Princess. When KH's mother asked him to call Princess 妹妹 (which means "little sister" in Mandarin), he readily agreed. I then suggested to KH that if he had difficulty pronouncing Princess' name, he was free to call her 妹妹 if he wished.

When the boys' mother asked KH to sing to Princess, he serenaded her with two songs! I have to admit that I did not recognise the songs. They were probably nursery rhymes.

Princess therefore now has three 哥哥 (which means "elder brother" in Mandarin) in close proximity! She gets along very well with the three boys and she smiles when they talk to her or when they reach out to touch her hand or her knee.

Other than the three handsome boys, Princess also has other 哥哥, such as DT (our god-son), Supercute, Tau Suan, GKW, AW, EW... all of whom are sons of our friends.

Of course, Princess also has several 姐姐 (meaning "elder sister" in Mandarin), such as SCT (Da's niece), MAT (Da's niece), ST (our god-daughter), GT (our god-daughter), friends' daughters (that is, Nining, FKQ,SL, etc) and her soon-to-be-godsister (IL).

Gosh, Princess is not even 4 months of age and she already has so many friends! I am thankful that she is surrounded by many other children with whom she will be close to and who will look after her and look out for her.
Princess is a lovable girl who is good natured and who makes friends easily. People who meet her often comment about how "smiley" she is. The Lord has truly been so kind to us and I am so blessed that He chose us to be the "forever family" of Princess.

Princess loves her daddy and she always pays attention when he is talking to her.

Princess has reached the age where she is starting to recognise people. According to FIL and MIL, Princess observes my movement from her cot when I am busying myself at home attending to chores.

I love it when Princess wakes up from her sleep. She will stretch herself, try to focus her vision, then smile broadly when she recognises the person who is standing next to her cot.

This evening, we decided to take Princess for a stroll around our estate and the neighbouring area.

Although Princess was rather quiet during the stroll, we could see that her eyes were very observant as she paid attention to her surroundings.

Towards the end of the stroll, as it was getting a little warm, Princess accepted the face towel that I gave her and she held onto it, sometimes pressing it to her face. Was she wiping her own perspiration? Only she can answer this question.

When we reached home, I switched on the Korean channel on cable television and let Princess watch "My Too Perfect Sons".

It was a quiet day today, for which I am thankful. I had the opportunity to spend the whole day with our little darling.
