Visitors from Sembawang

I had a work meeting at 3 pm to attend today. As such, I requested Da to come home before 2 pm as I needed to make my way to the meeting thereafter.

While waiting for Da to come home, I spent time bonding with Princess. Princess is wearing a romper that her Auntie Z bought her. Isn't it lovely? The material felt very comfortable and she enjoyed wearing it.

As we had guests from Sembawang (namely, our friends WC and SC) coming to our home this evening, I decided to bake a Nutella marble cake. I also prepared a broccoli and ham bread casserole and left it in the refrigerator to be baked this evening.

The last time that I placed Princess on our sofa, she was unable to hold her head up. Today, she managed to sit up and let me take a few photographs. Yippee!

Princess likes her day cot that her maternal grandmother (that is, my mother) bought her. According to my mother, this cot can be converted to a playpen when Princess is able to stand up.

This is one of Princess' signature poses. She has some poses that look even more pensive!

After some cleaning up, Princess felt fresh and was ready to smile for the camera again.

Da came home shortly before 2 pm. We managed to spend some daddy and mommy with Princess time before I reluctantly left for my meeting.

Look at how happy Princess is! It just melts my heart each time I see her. Everything else does not matter when I behold her.

When I came back from my meeting in the late afternoon, FIL and MIL were at our home.

MIL tried to entertain Princess by making "monkey faces".

Princess is now able to hold her head up for quite some time. She also prefers to sleep on her side now instead of on her back.

In the evening, our friends WC and SC arrived. SC must have been intrigued by the cannisters of milk powder because she took a photograph of them.

Here are SC and Princess, sharing a joke. Even though this was the first time that SC and Princess met, they clicked straight away and Princess was happy to allow SC to carry her.

The photograph above as well as the remaining photographs in this post were all taken by WC.

Gosh, look at how Princess was grinning into the camera.

I like this photograph of Princess taken by WC.

Ah, our little girl is deep in thought again.... she must have been thinking, "I wish Uncle WC and Auntie SC could visit me again soon!".
